HOME LEARNING

Term 1 2022

Kia ora koutou,

This section is a place where whanau can find options for learning from home when children are isolating or unable to attend school for a long period of time.

Please do as much or as little as best suits your needs and situation at home. There is no pressure to do any if you are unable to. The wellbeing of your children and family is the most important thing in these times.

Our main learning will be to follow what is being taught at school, however, if children/whanau want something else then we have shared the following.

- All of our previous fun interactive learning challenges from the previous two years lockdowns are available to view and use. These are designed for children ranging from 5 - 11 years old. Check out the Learning Challenges page for these.

- More structured learning will be posted onto the team pages on the school website. You will see that there is a page for Junior, Middle, and Senior students. There may be differences in the work provided based on the level and area of the school each child is in. Each slide is a day worth of work.

- Paper learning packs will be made available to those without internet access at home. A very small number of paper packs will be able to be collected from the school office or gate once your child has been away for more than 5 days. Speak to your child's teacher about these.

- Ministry of Education resources and links to learning from home suggestions will be available on the Ministry of Education Resources page.

If you have any questions please contact your child's teacher and they will be happy to help. Just please be patient with us as not all teachers are in a position to reply straight away.

Take care
