GymSport Festival was cancelled in 2021 due to Covid 19

Each year the Piako Gym Club host the Gymsport event held at the Morrinsville Events Centre usually held in August/Sept.

Our school likes to support the Gymsport event as a large number  of our children at DSS belong to local gymnastics clubs.

Along with gymnastics DSS usually enter Hip Hop / Cheerleading / Aerobics teams.

Teams that place in the Piako event go on to the Waikato Regional School Gymsport Festival held in Hamilton.
